put dependent files

put dependent files

Not sure if this belongs here or under cms builder. I recently added cms builder. Got it up and running OK. But now when I put files I am not asked if I want to put the dependent files. If I get files from the server I do get all the dependent files. But if I make changes to the css files or other files tied to the page They are not uploaded unless I go to that file and put it. this is causing some headaches as I do use several addons such as the css scluptor builder. So when I create a page with scluptor builder and put that page I also have to hunt down the css files in scluptor builder and also in menu writer and put those seperately. I am not sure what may have changed. Is this a Dreamweaver issue or an issue with the cms builder extension. Any ideas??

Dreamweaver does not always "know" what files are dependent or not, even when it does, it is often very flaky about putting the dependent files. It is a better practice to manually manage related files than to rely on Dreamweaver to manage them for you.

I understand, But DW did a good enough job in the past and was Espically useful when using other webassist products such as css sclupter and css menu. Now DW does't work at all. I guess I could uninstall the cms builder to see if it fixes it. Just wondering if this was a sudden DW issue or if it could be attributed to CMS builder as that was the last extension I installed. Certainly won't deter me from continuing to use your great extensions.

Anyone else have something like this happen??

Thanks
