put dependent files

Not sure if this belongs here or under cms builder. I recently added cms builder. Got it up and running OK. But now when I put files I am not asked if I want to put the dependent files. If I get files from the server I do get all the dependent files. But if I make changes to the css files or other files tied to the page They are not uploaded unless I go to that file and put it. this is causing some headaches as I do use several addons such as the css scluptor builder. So when I create a page with scluptor builder and put that page I also have to hunt down the css files in scluptor builder and also in menu writer and put those seperately. I am not sure what may have changed. Is this a Dreamweaver issue or an issue with the cms builder extension. Any ideas??
