Testing Powerstore. Local xampp, or remote host server?

Being a newby I'm confused as to testing my site using powerstore. I have MySQL and PHP setup via Xampp on my local server/PC, do I initially 'upload' Powerstore and it's ascociated content/product to my xampp for testing and then, when the site is completed and tested, upload it to my hosting server to go live? I cannot find an answer to this on WA support.

you can either test power store locally or on the remote server.

however, testing locally will be a bit limited as xampp does not include an SMTP server for testing email functions and by default cURL is not enabled in xampp to test the checkout functionality.

Solution Suite

Great, Powerstore uploaded to server and seems to be working fine. However SuperSuite comes with PowerGallery, ContactForm, PowerCMS & UserRegistration some or all of which seem to be already integrated with PowerStore. Do I upload them all to my server's 'root' directory anyway?

No, no need to upload the other solutions files.

Pound sterling sign (£)?

How do I set PowerStore to display the £ sterling sign rather than the $ dollar sign?

When will the update be available?

It is currently in QA testing. I do not have a release date to give you though.

£ & Euro update

With respect,

As this product is currently not fit for UK purpose it is vital that I know how long before the update will be available.

You sold this product as a commercial solution to a user located outside of the USA with the knowledge that it did not support the local currency icon and is therefore not fit for purpose.

If it is not going to be available in the VERY near future, despite your 'no refund on this product' policy, I will have to demand a refund and go elsewhere for a solution.

Please appraise me more accurately as to when the update is going to be available.

the power store demo website:
www.powerstore-demo.com/

is in place to demonstrate all of the available functionality of power store for just this purpose.

the update to include foreign currency is currently going through Quality Assurance testing.

the last update i got on a release date was the middle of this week, but that is not a solid date that i can promise you. there are always unforeseen circumstances that can come along and push that date out further.

I can only tell you that we are working on getting this update to power store out as soon as possible.
