Ever going to fix this bug?

Steve

Ever going to fix this bug?

Happy Holidays,
Via tech support we identified a bug in this extension back in Aug.

I've had another opportunity to use the extension today but due to the focus on dialog windows not working properly it is useless.

Here's a couple posts on the topic and there should be a Tech Support record as well:

showthread.php?p=71403#post71403
showthread.php?t=16202

It would be of benefit to have a working version or tell people not to buy if they have a Mac so others don't waste time and money until this is fixed. Or allocate a bit of time to sort this so those that have paid for the extension will have a working version.

Regards,

Steve

Is this isolated to the latest version?

I opened a support ticket so that we can investigate this issue with you directly.

We have not been able to reproduce the bug internally, so we will need to work with you in a phone call to reproduce and debug the cause.

Hi Ray,
This was identified back in Aug and also I did speak to a Tech on the phone that logged the details. It may be on a ticket based on the Framework as that was the primary cause of the incident ticket.

You guys can call me any time. It would be nice to have a working extension.

It seems to be a DW issue in general when using the popup menu. If you click multiple times it will eventually work, so it is annoying but not a showstopper.

We did update your support incident with a fix for the problem and will be including the fix in the next update.

Ray, I'm not seeing this support ticket... Can you better identify where I get the updated files?

Here is a screen shot from the Support area with reference to all my tickets. Nothing showing related to Security Assist:

I see what happened... since Tom responded to the thread just before I created the incident, it got created for his profile instead of yours.

Here is the fix and instructions:

I have attached a zip that contain two files to fix the issue with Security Assist Authenticate User.

Please download the attached file and place the files at this location:

Hard disk: Users: <Your User Name>: Library: Application Support: Adobe: Dreamweaver CS4: en_US: Configuration: Commands

Make sure to have Dreamweaver closed and delete the MacCache file before restarting.

Please post back with the results.
