confirmation email not received

I have set up UE in ecart, so that

the to: goes to the customer (using the email field on the checkout page)
the cc: goes to me
the bcc: goes to the client

and the site is uploaded to my testing server

Everything works fine for me, but when the client places a test order, they dont get any email confirmation.

I find it difficult to troubleshoot, as I don't have an issue.

I got the client to check their spam folder, but appearently nothing.

Any suggestions?

if you are getting the email, but the client is not, the problem is in the smtp server.

the email message is being sent to the SMTP Server, but the SMTP server is refusing to relay it to the recipient.

you will need to contact the host to have them look into the smtp server error logs to see why the smtp server is not relaying the email message to the recipient.
