Adding HTTPS to PS4

Before i go about adding the SSL cert to the site i wanted to know the proper way to install it to PS4.

-what changes made to the pages (if any) to prevent and mess-ups.
-are there going to be any broken links?
-is the data base going to work properly?
-is there an extremely easy way to set it up?
-should the whole site be in HTPS, or only the pages that will be taking in customer info?

the site is already launched, people are buying... i just want to make this as smooth as possible.

Thanks you so much for your time

the simplest way to add SSL is to edit the plugins/shopping_cart/cart_editable.php file.

find the following line:
$Redirect_redirStr="checkout.php";

and change it to use a full url to the SSL server:
$Redirect_redirStr="https://www.mydomain.com/checkout.php";
