how to add a link and get directions to the info bubble

Hi

I know this is a very basic question, but I am a beginner.

How do I add a link to a web address and a get directions in the info bubble?

Is there a tutorial or any info on how?

Thanks shaheen

In the wizard, if you set the balloon type to custom, you will be a=edit the contents of the balloon and add a link.

It is not supported to add the get directions form to the info bubble, it will require custom coding to accomplish.

Sorry again not to sound stupid, I tried adding a link, but it only shows up as text and not a link.

Do I need to write some code before I put the web link address?

you create a link using an anchor tag:
<a href="page.htm">Click here</a>

links to point to the location on the map

I am developing a website using dreamweaver CS4. I have pro google Map API.
I followed all the instructions given in the PDF tutorial material. Typed all addresses and made markers etc. However, when I am testing it nothing shows other than the Google map itself. No pellow pointers showing any locations of the addresses typed in the wizard page.

I need to make sure that when the customer he/she clicks on the address of the location or a graphic adjacent to the address the Google map shows the location with the address in a bubble.

How can I do this? I have no knowledge of JS. But I can embed the required JS code if it needs be.

Your assitance will be appreciated.

Pro Google Maps

Thank you Jason.

I was actually following the instructions how to change the map centers but could not find <a href="#" onclick="wagmp_map_1_obj.getpointaddress ('address'). etc. in the page codes where the map is. The script type="text/javascript was there and also the src regarding the WAgmp_map_1.js. were all on the page. But not the link of addresses.

I wanted to install the Pro Maps on my dreamweaver CS4 but it would not install so I installed in CS3. And because I had two versions of dreamweavers in my hard drive, I thought there might be some conflicts taking place. So I uninstalled the CS3 which unfortunately removed all of its components links including the Pro Google for maps.

I downloaded the Pro Maps but when I tried to install it on my CS4 dreamweaver it tells me that "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action".

Jason, now I have to first install the program and then try to chnage the centers of the map.

Can you please help me.

Thank you

open the cs4 extension manager. In Dreamweaver, go to Commands -> Manage Extensions.

once the extension manager is open, close Dreamweaver.

In the extension manager, click the Install icon and select the MXP file that you downloaded to begin the installation.
