Adding product image to order history

Hi
I would like to add an image of the product to the order details page within order history, so that when a user has completed a purchase and logs in to view their order history, they can see a picture of what they've ordered as well as the title, description and price. Is this possible and how would I go about doing this?

Thanks
Neil

It is possible to do this, but it is not a supported modification.

you would need to edit the WADAorderdetails recordset on the order details to use a join query to return the product image from the products table.

for more details on joined queries, see the following page:

sql_join.asp

Adding product image to order history

Hi Jason
I've had a look at the link you posted but my .php knowledge is fairly limited. Is this something you could resolve for me within a Premier support ticket. I know I've got to pay for this, but my client is keen to have this functionality and keen to have the site live. I also need to have the order details listed with the most recent first.

Thanks for your help
Neil

Yes, this is something that could be accomplished using a premiere ticket, contact the sales department if you wish to schedule a premier ticket for this.

Hi Jason
Ok great! I'm based in the UK so we would have to liaise over email rather than phone if that's ok.

Adding product image to order history

Hi Jason
I'm going to go ahead with this support ticket, but before I do I think it would be worth updating my Powerstore site to the latest fix, version 3.01 from version 3.

What do I need to do to update the site? Is it simply a case of just uploading the new pages and templates, or do I need to upload everything (except the connections folder) including the ecart folder. I'm a bit nervous in doing this as the store currently works perfectly and i don't want to break it, but I do recognize that there are some important fixes in there.

Thanks
Neil

To update your currant store to 3.01 you would need to upload all of the files to the server in the power store download zip with the exception of the connections and install folder.
