Database Connection

Database Connection

I am using CS5 and cannot get DataAssist connection to work. I keep getting an error on invalid user or password.

I have added my IP's at the host and I am able to make a connection with NAVICAT & OBDC connector.

It seems like it is trying to login as

It is such a simple design I really did not want to setup a local server which appears to be the only answer I have seen so far in the forums.

I have used this product for years and this is the first I have seen this. Is it a CS5 issue?

I installed MySQL on my development system, connected NAVICAT and copied all of the database and tables to localhost

I tried to create a localhost connection and I get a 1045 error Access denied WTH

Why do all of the tools work but CS5 / Data Assist will not

If you are able to define a connection outside of the DataAssist wizard, are you able to select the connection in the DataAssist Wizard? or do you get the error when you select the connection in DataAssist Only.
