Database Connection

I am using CS5 and cannot get DataAssist connection to work. I keep getting an error on invalid user or password.

I have added my IP's at the host and I am able to make a connection with NAVICAT & OBDC connector.

It seems like it is trying to login as username@domain_name.com

It is such a simple design I really did not want to setup a local server which appears to be the only answer I have seen so far in the forums.

I have used this product for years and this is the first I have seen this. Is it a CS5 issue?

UPDATE:

I installed MySQL on my development system, connected NAVICAT and copied all of the database and tables to localhost

I tried to create a localhost connection and I get a 1045 error Access denied WTH

Why do all of the tools work but CS5 / Data Assist will not
