Don't want cart to add...

Right now, each time you press the Add to Cart button on the same product it add additional quantity. Is there a way to set it so that it replaces the amount in the cart with the value from the details page?

Yes, that is an option in the add to cart user interface. It should be one of the last settings on the bindings tab. You can re-open that interface from the server behaviors window to change the effect when adding an item already in the cart.... replace is an option, but add quantity is the default.
