help with creating an email from receving IPN details from paypal

Hi
Can anyone help me? I need to create an automated email to be sent to the customer when they have paid on paypal. I have created an IPN page and have all the IPN details held in a database, I now just need to know how to trigger the email based on the cart details & proberbly the transaction ID.

Just add universal email to the IPN page and use the valida paypal transaction trigger.

You can populate the body with the information from the bindings tab.

I have added UE to the IPN page, used the valid paypal transaction trigger, and used the bindings tab for the body text. I am not getting any email from this? I receive emails from paypal, and an IPN transaction email (created directly onmy IPN page) but not the one I have set up as an order confirmation. Not sure why this is?

You have UE applied twice on the IPN page? You mention you are getting one email. Is it possible you have set a redirect setting in one of the other applied server behaviors?

It is impossible to debug with the limited information provided, but if one email works, see if you might be redirecting in between or look into what might be different about the two emails. Maybe one is getting spam blocked?

Sorted it. I didnt use UE for the 1st email that was already in with my IPN config file. I changed the trigger from paypal valid transadction to dynamic and picked up the transaction number. this now seems to work fine.
