Adding a new page

How would a client build a new page using PowerCMS? PowerStore allows you to add a new page but PowerCMS does not.

Is it possible?

PowerCMS does not physically create another page, but with the use of the templates feature in PowerCMS you can use the same page to load different content based on a Query String.

To do this, in PowerCMS create a content location and make sure to check the check box to make it a template. then create all the regions you want for that Template. Then next to that template in the left column there should be a + button which allow you to add pages off that template. Once you have all the pages, you can then copy the Developer notes to your page and update the links to have the Additional parameter that is specified in the Developer notes of the template pages.

I'm not sure what you mean by "In PowerCMS"... and "Create a content area". I've never really used PowerCMS by itself. I've been using Site Sculptor.

Sorry i thought you were referring the Full Version of PowerCMS. The full version of PowerCMS allows you to add content location, however the version in Site Sculptor does not have those functionality.

I have the full version but have never used it. I'm not really sure how to use it. Can you help?

On the Site Sculptor Support page:

site-sculptor/

Under Site Sculptor Tutorials, there is a tutorial ('Upgrading the Site Sculptor Content Management feature to PowerCMS 2') that can assist you in upgrading to the full version of PowerCMS.
