Random Password not appearing in the binding panel

Random Password not appearing in the binding panel

I have been trying to create a session variable with a random generated password.

I followed the solution recipe and created a new binding for the random password but it doesn't appear in the bindings panel and I cannot add it to the session variable.

I have deleted the configuration file and re installed security assist but I still get the same problem.

What happens for you when you go to Bindings > SecurityAssist > Random Password? This should add it to the bindings for you, then when you try to use it on the page it will come up with the configuration screen where you set the length and type for the random password.

Nothing happens.

The screen flickers as if something is going to happen.

The random password is not listed in the bindings panel and when I try to create a session variable it is not listed under the lightning bolt.

many thanks

Eric

Do you have any idea why the extension is not working?

Cheers

There is only one other thing that I can think of to try and get past this issue, renaming the configuration folder. Here are the steps you can take for this:

showpost.php?p=12293&postcount=2

This will force you to have to remove all of your installed extensions and install them again. If you continue to have this problem please let me know and I will ensure that a ticket is opened for you.

That was the first thing I tried but did not seem to fix the problem.
