How to Make This Form Using eCart 4?

How to Make This Form Using eCart 4?

I have this form <http://chicagoblogawards.com/blog/2010/04/07/free-entry-for-chicago-wordpress-meetup-group-members/> posted in a WordPress blog but I can make it as well into an HTML form for use with my website and eCart 4.

My question is how do I go about making it work with PayPal Payments Pro / Express Checkout? I will be adding some prices to form.

Any advice will be extremely helpful and much appreciated.

Thanks

Dante

So you would just like to add commerce to this form page? So long as you can edit the source php code on the page directly you can use eCart to add in an add to cart server behavior and button that will get the item or items into the cart. Once you do that you can then create a cart display page and generate a checkout with the checkout wizard and choose Payments Pro as the checkout option.

You should checkout the support page for eCart and have a look at the getting started guide.

Thanks Eric,

I am beyond the Getting Started point having had eCart for 3-4 years now (unfortunately I have never gotten it to work in all that time).

I have a sandbox online (with test PayPal API credentials, etc) I have setup for a totally unrelated product. This is as close to success as I have come with eCart 4 in making it work (I will upgrade to 5 once I can get 4 to work for me): onedaywordpressworkshop.php

However, for this Chicago International Blog Awards Entry I can not understand how to make the cart reflect the options to enter the various blog award category selections, etc.

You have said that you do not have it working correctly yet, please explain what is not working out correctly for you and the result that you are getting. I was able to view the link you posted to and add the item to the cart, then go to the checkout from the cart display page. Are there problems with the adding to the cart, or the checkout itself?

Along with this info please also describe a little more about what you are hoping to accomplish with the options and what you have tried so far.
