eCart ignores Universal Email

eCart ignores Universal Email

I have UE 4.0.1 installed as a DW CS4 extension yet when configuring my checkout pages eCart 5.0.2 skips the Email Receipt section. I had planned to use UE to send email receipts when orders are confirmed. What am I missing?

I had same issue and found out in on of the gsg that if you are using a remote payment gateway you will not be able to send the receipt using universal email. That option will not appear in the checkout configuration window.

When the payment is processed the receipt is sent by whoever handles the payment/transaction.

My Payment Gateway does't have order details and sends no email

Not great. I only use my payment gateway to authorize the payment. They don't have the order deails and don't send an email. I guess I can add the UE stuff myself since eCart decides I don't need it.
