form far down on page and validation always present

i always get very unpredictable results with css form builder

although there is plenty of space available, it creates my form at the bottom of the page i made with css sculptor.. actually inserts a ton of space where there are no hard-returns , and places the form waydown at the bottom.

also, although i specify, validation - NONE, it still always puts validation on all fields.

i find the extension very difficult to use, but if i could get these two basic things answered i could at least get past the first few steps.

thank you

Do you have a link where we can see the page with the form on it? If the form is being pushed further down on the page it is usually because of width constraints or other css not being compatible. A link to the page would help us determine why it appears further down for you.

For the validations are you applying to an existing form or is this a newly created form with Form Builder. Were there validations on these fields before and you are now just removing them? Are only some of the validations still applied or all of them? Please detail the steps you are taking when editing the validations so we can look into this further with you.

yes, thank you.

the link is:
contact.html

the validation is coming from creating a brand new form in the CSS FORM wizard, specifying no validation. in the wizard, the check goes away, to signify no validation, but upon completion the validation is mandatory.

Hi

The validations seem to be only appearing when they should. They will appear in your form in Dreamweaver's 'Design View' though, - this is normal.

Are you seeing the error messages when you view your 'live' page?

To correct the problem with your form being shunted to the bottom of your page, you can add a line to your CSSFormBuilder/FD_FORMNJKICKBOX_FORMNJKICKBOX.css file at about line 63-64:

form.FORMNJKICKBOX_FORMNJKICKBOX ul.FORMNJKICKBOX_FORMNJKICKBOX {
list-style-type:none;
float:left; /* Add this line */
}
