PowerStore and Email

Hi All,

I'm thinking of purchasing power store as a way of registering for paid events for an annual convention along with allowing for growth of the site in sales items. One question I have is:

Can email be incorporated into powerstore to notify the owner of a sale and the purchasers information and still get to PayPal to complete the order?

Thanks

update

Hi

WA are on holiday until tomorrow ( disgracefull ;-) but I suspect your answer is No.

PS3 is a standalone item with as far as I am aware no provision for electronic delivery etc.

However if you subscribe or own the universal email and ecart module I'm sure it can be done with some additional coding.

I gather that electronic delivery etc is being considered as an option for PS4

confused

I was reading over the features of PS3 and it seems to have so much email capability already that I don't see why it wouldn't be able to do this. But yes I do have the latest version of UE4 and Ecart so if I have to modify I can.

I know PayPal will give a report but I also know it is not very detailed.

Thanks

If you are just looking to get the standard email receipt sent to you then you could do so by setting it this way in the admin area for the store. If the email that you want is not the receipt but a different custom message with the customer info and/or order details then you will need to add it in with UE like edwards mentioned.

It would be a very basic implementation though I think. It sounds like you could just add a new UE server behavior to the confirm page to have it send you out this information.
