non receipt of emails

Hi

created a from using formbuilder and then use the create email option to do the following

pick up the from - from the form

send it to me and a bcc to the email address on the form.

I set up a sucess page.

If I apply and upload and then fill in the form everything goes to the sucess page but no email is received to either my emails address or the senders.

I know from past issues that my isp requires the -f switch but that seems to be in place.

In Universal Email 4 the -f switch will be used if you select the option on the server settings tab to send the from address as an additional parameter.


make sur you are selecting that option in the server settings tab.

if you continue to have problems, send a copy of your page so I can look at the code.

try setting only the from address, do not fill in a from name, only add a from address.

that fixed it.

IS this a bug? or can you send a copy of the email to the sender?

Also how do I edit the create exisitng form email settings without creating a double incidence of the code?

Some servers will not except the From name, and will only except an email address.

To edit the existing instance of universal email, open the server behaviors panel, then double click the universal email server behavior.
