PCMS2 - unexpected "@"

PCMS2 - unexpected "@"

I have upgraded a PCMS1 site to PCMS2. The upgrade worked smoothly.

I have taken a new existing page with static content, added the content to the admin for that page, and pasted in the developer notes -

<?php include('/var/www/vhosts/gws-sitetest.com/subdomains/domain/httpdocs/powercms/WA_CMS/addtosite.php'); echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, '@@content-group@@', '@@content-ref@@', false@@order@@); ?>

On doing this, DWCS5 tells me that there is a syntax error on that line (no doubt responding to the unquoted 'false@@order@@'). In addition, on uploading the file, the browser is unhappy with it as well, throwing this message -

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '@' in /var/www/vhosts/gws-sitetest.com/subdomains/mkt-sol/httpdocs/m_contact.php on line 135

What's up with this?

Hmm - based on subsequent investigation, it's clear that something is not working properly on this upgrade. Those @@variable@@ things should have been replaced with actual values before being listed in the designer notes.

Hi msummers,

Try reading from post #7 on this page - it seems to have resolved the issue for some people.

Let us know how you get on with this, if you can.

Seems like that might have worked, but it's not. The developer notes are still fried, just as before. I made the change to lines 64 and 65, saved, and uploaded the file. Nada....

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Larry

I have to jump in here and just say that the fix that was mentioned, fixed the issue for me. Just thought I would chime in.

Thanks, Larry - not sure why it didn't touch the issue for me. But it may be academic once I move servers.

Yeah - moving servers fixed things up. Who knows?

I think that I just sent a response to your ticket about this, if you are satisfied with the result that you are now getting you can close the ticket, or you can update it with some more info if need be.
