unable to upload images when inserting in page

in the powercms 2 in the edit page I click on the "insert/edit image" icon andthe dialog bnox appears.
if I browser server then on the left use the upload form whatever I try it fails and says
"No file uploaded 0".
I had no problem with powercms1
If I use the tab at the top of the image upload dialog box it simply sits ther humming away and never completes.
these are small gif files - I endup using dreamweaver to upload them
but when I hand it over to the client theyt will need this to work.
it there a image upload setting I'm missing?

make sure that the "files" directory has the appropriate permissions.

In Dreamweaver, open the PowerCMS site.

In the Files Panel, change the view drop down list to Remote View. Right Click on the "files" folder and select Set Permissions. make sure Read and Write are checked for all three users.

Unable to add image

I have the same problem. The permissions were at 755, I reset them to 777 to accommodate the fix to allow read and write. Still when I click on the Insert Image icon the image properties box comes up and does nothing.

Please advise. My clients want this basic functionality

Image Upload problems

I have the same problem, I have permissions set, however, the image upload does not give the option to upload photos from the server. Is there a fix for this?

thanks!
