page access not quite working

page access not quite working

I use dreamweaver cs3 developing on localhost, I updated to 1.19 but it showed up as 1.18, the problem then was not being able to have more than 10 rules which was professionally solved by Jason. The problem now is that page access appears to not work completly. When I sign in page access stops on the correct homepage but from there if when I hit my homepage buttons from different pages, I get a message " Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems ". It is like my session info or something is not letting the receiving page know who I am to allow access to the series of homepages to stop on the correct restricted page.

Also if before going online I am working on one of the restricted pages, then directly hit F12 to go online instead of the page kicking me off the restricted page and sending me to the redirect page, it stays on that page even though I didn't log in first.

Thanks

try testing using FireFox instead of internet explorer, it may give you a better error message with more information.

Do you have a link where I could test the issue to get a better understanding of what is going on?

As for the F12 preview, if you have previously tested the page, and logged in, the browser session will not cleared (you will not be logged out) unless you close the browser completely. You must close all instances of your browser to end the session.

page access still not working

No firefox and IE, neither one tells me what is wrong. I'm still developing on localhost. Out of about 20 levels of homepages, page access will allow access to the first 5 but will always come up with page can't be found when I try to log in to the other lower homepages. Three of the lowest level homepages worked perfect before I made the other homepages and had the problem with the version before 1.18 that only allowed 10 levels.

The problem is randomly the same when I use the "Back To Homepage" button that I made. It sometimes displays the same "can't find page" message and other times maybe from a different form it will find the "missing" page.

I can't work on my lower level homepages because I can't find them in the browser. I need help.

Thanks
