Yet another Javascript error

Yet another Javascript error

At every step of working on a cart page I get an error saying that the eCart is not part of the page.

I've deleted the .dat file, recreated the site cache and removed EVERY behaviour from the page except the eCart because it throws the error.

When I try to add a new Recordset I get a different javascript error.

I manually removed the eCart code and successfully a recordset to the page. THen I manually copied the eCart code back into the page but it has a ! on it and I'm right back where I started. I cannot add or edit any behavior on the page because eCart is throwing an error.

This has happened to me before on eCart4 as well. I am now using eCart5.

The fun goes on

New site, new javascript error.

Now DataAssist is complaining when I try to view the Update Record details.

Instead on manually copying the eCart code back into the page, what happens if you apply the Add to cart button server behavior by going to Insert -> WebAssist -> eCart -> Add to Cart button?

for the DataAssist Error, try uninstalling data Assist, deleting the DW Cache file and then installing data assist again. When I check my copy of the configuration/shared/webassist/ApplicationBuilder/library/wa_configuration.js file, line 332 does not have a reference to a "extTtitle2 variable. In my copy, line 332 is:
var retArr = new Array();

this leads me to believe your copy is corrupted, reinstalling should fix the problem.

Why is corruption of these extensions so prevalent? I spend a lot of downtime removing and reinstalling WA exptensions, renaming DAT files and recreating caches.
