Multi Columns on Product Results page in PS3

Hi WA,

If you guys are ok with it I've started a new thread on this topic.

I would like to look at the reply that Jason was kind enough to post and get your feedback for PS3 please?

The thread was as follows but everyone appeared to be missing line 431 onwards in that instance.
showthread.php?t=2013&highlight=columns+ps3+powerstore

In essense two or three columns and how this code would change or be applied?

Appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Thanks as usual, Mark.

I found another thread on this that looks like it has the specific css that you need to alter to achieve this result or something close to it:

showthread.php?t=10042

Please give this a try to see if it can help you reorganize the product listing page.

Hi Eric,

Thanks. I can see what you have suggested on the content.css file.

I couldn't see a posting about the code changes to the Product_results.php page - can you point me in the right direction?

Cheers, Mark.

I can't give you chapter and verse - but if you poke around here Products_Results.php
it may lead you in the right direction.

You should be able to make all of the necessary changes directly in the css file to get it to display side by side. Are you not getting the correct result?

Hi Mick, thanks. Did you make any changes to the products_results page?

Yes

See attached and compare it to the original in TextWrangler.
TextWrangler can show you the differences between two files.
Primary difference is creating "contentBoxSmall" and using it in place of "contentBox".
Around line 128 I changed $maxRows_WADAProducts = 10; to $maxRows_WADAProducts = 25;
I also found it necessary to change the order of divs in "productResultsWrapper" from "left" "right" "middle" to "left" "middle" "right".
And more.
Tweaked a lot of css too.

Mick

Hey Mick,

Nice job you did there! I reckon quite a few people will be after your designs for this.

Nice one.
