In UE 4 "from" not showing in email received

In UE 4 "from" not showing in email received

I was using 3.7 and emails would go to my junk folder. I uninstall 3.7 and downloaded 4.0, but It still doesn't show who the email is from. With 4.0 it would send the form info to my inbox. I'm lost.

I have created a support incident so that we can research this with you directly. I am not familiar with this problem, so it is probably best to have us help you debug it over the phone directly.

If you want to try yourself, try dragging the various bindings onto the page, or use the email logging feature. That will give you a way to view the sent email header, which we can analyze for issues with the from header.

problem solved

I created a new page and form and it worked. I had a spry validation error on the form I was using. But when you use 3.7 the results would come back in a list look. using 4.0 the results come back in one long sentence. Is there a way to make the results look like a list.

I'm not sure exactly what you are describing?

"when you use 3.7 the results would come back in a list look. using 4.0 the results come back in one long sentence"

What are you using to build the list or sentence? Have you tried adding <BR> tags?

I attached a zip file.
contact form is the list style I talking about and would like to have. (3.7)
test form is the sentence style I was talking about. (4.0)

I thought about using <br> tag but cannot figure out which file to put them in, I has to be one of the 3 files in webassist folder created when inserting UE 4

It should be in the webassist/email/templates folder if you used one of the template pages.

It's working the way I like it. I didn't know by clicking the check box in the email body would create a template. Thanks

not working now

It was working before and not now. I created a 2 page site and attached the files.

What happens? No email sent? Error? Bad content? Have you tried dragging the bindings on the page to see the error message that might have been generated? I'd start by doing that and seeing what it says.

I receive the email, but under the title to the email "b-test" your name should appear, above the date and time, and who it was sent to. I have not change the template at all.
