email settings not available in checkout wizard

I have the latest version of Universal Email installed with eCart 5 and do not get the email settings options when using the checkout wizard. Removed and re-installed everything. Universal Email options available under Insert / WebAssist / but do not appear before 'Designs' settings in checkout wizard.

If I am not mistaken, your situation has to do with the payment gateway type. I mainly use PayPal business standard (no monthly fee) and it has remote checkout; and the remote checkout does not allow for the email receipt function on UE during the checkout wizard.
So i had to set up the universal email function to mail a receipt from the confirm page before redirect to PayPal. Not the best option, but only way I could figure.

The option to use Universal Email to send a receipt will only be available if you are using a Local checkout method. If you select to use a remote checkout method such as paypal payments standard, you will not have the option to configure universal email in the checkout wizard.
