Site Integration
I have a site that I have created mostly in codeigniter and want to add the ecart but can't seem to find a way to do it. Is this possible or do I have to start over with webassist objects for the search and things.
thanks

It should be possible to just add eCart to the existing site in most cases.
Ray,
I am having issues with MVC not allowing direct access to the files. Include & require are not allowed in this type of setup.
What you normally do with an MVC is create what you need in the form of a library and utilize it via objects .
I looked at doing that but the file eCart1_php is the name and the class name inside is eCart1_Definition. I would have to change them to be the same.
Any suggestions would be great. I am using Codeigniter as my mvc.
Do you use Dreamweaver in that environment? Does a typical Recordset work somehow in DW or is this a problem in general with any server functionality in DW?
You could copy and paste the code directly in place of the include. You would not have to change any of the code itself.
I develop mostly in Eclipse. I can use Dreamweaver but it does not recognize any record sets and things.
Does ecart require the dreamweaver recordset. I have the searching and product view. I had the site setup with paypal but decided to pick a nice cart and switch over. All I have to do is pass the data to the cart. I can't figure out how to do that.
Thanks
Yes, eCart requires Dreamweaver recordsets if you want to interact with those recordsets from within the ecart wizards.
