Yes, it would most likely be easier just to start a new cart. I would recommend making a backup of the site files before making any modifications. Which version of eCart and which payment gateway were you using when you implemented this store? You would most likely need to delete the WA_eCart directory, any pages with the add to cart button applied, the page that you use for your cart display and the pages generated by eCart. The pages would be confirm, checkout_success, checkout_failure, checkout and maybe some other pages depending on the payment gateway.
