security assist Athenticate user
I have had this problem before. i found a thread that was similar to mine and piggybacked off of it. Jason came back with the answer but didn't understand it. He then ended up calling and helping me. I have lost the thread to that problem and had to restart the whole thing again. I am now stuck in the same spot.
In the SecurityAssist Authenticate User dialog box on the Database tab I have username and passowd columns. I believe the value is where I am having problems. When I click on the lightning bolt I can pick from Sessions, Cookie or Form. No matter what I pick. I get redirected back to my denied.php page.
Under the Session Value tab I have username and password. I can't find any tutorials or info on this dialog box.
I did http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/User-level-authentication-with-SecurityAssist and still don't understand.
I should have added the contents of the general tab. Trigger is "any form post". Redirect has both check boxes checked and a page to go to if successful and on that if it fails.
Now, under Access Page Manager. The pages I want restricted have the Rule "logged in to login_form" applied to each.
In the dialog box I have the name of the rule. and under Conditions, I have
Allowed if <?php echo ((isset($_POST["username"]))?$_POST["username"]:""); ?> = <?php echo $_SESSION['username']; ?>. Same for password.
Last but not least. I want who ever click on a restricted page to go to the login first. Right now it goes straight to the denied.php page.
