calculate delivery costs based on number of deliveries required

Hi

I'm doing a meal delivery site, where people can order different meals for delivery on different days.

They may choose to have 3 different meals delivered on the same day to save on delivery charges (and keep the meals refrigerated for a day).

So, the shopping cart has a 'delivery day' field. Let's assume that the delivery charge is £2 per day.

If they have 3 meals ordered for 3 different delivery days, the total delivery charge would be £6,
but if they had 3 meals ordered for the same day and 1 for a different day, the delivery cost would be £4

Can this be done?

many thanks

Chris
