Yes, I have been through this in the past, so its not worth fighting for, I did want to use this new forum area to bring it again to WA's attention.
I was a hand php coder for many years, and started using tools like interakts old stuff, and Webassists tools to speed up my workflow. I still often find that manually tweaking the code, and mixing my oen code with Webassist's is necessary to get the job done, but these tools have sure drastically sped up my work flow.
With that being said, most of the programming I do if for other web designers who hire me to do the dynamic stuff. They have complained in the past about all the extra folders in there, and I agree. I guess its my old school programmer side coming through, but it grates on me to see a cluttered file structure.
It doesn't grate enough on me to not use the tools, but it sure would be nice if we could have some control over file placement.
A totally acceptable solution would be for the server behaviors still be recognized and editable after the includes files have been manually moved.
Ray, you mentioned something about integrating some of your stuff into a larger package. I would certainly buy that, even if it duplicated a lot of the functionality of the super suite I have, if the includes folder structure were changed.
Anyway, I appreciate the chance to air some of my ideas. While they may not be a big deal to a large percentage of your users, they are to me.
Thanks!
Tom
