Consistent Domain Name use
I currently have a domain name attached to my "ABC.mycafecommerce.com" store. Let's call it "ABC123.com"
Notice I am deliberately showing that my CafeCommerce store name (from when I initially signed up and created a store name) is slightly different then the .com name I settled on when I attached a formal domain name ("ABC" versus "ABC123" - because the ABC.com name was not available.)
I have successfully set up my store so that all site navigation stays with the domain name "ABC123.com" (ie. ABC123.com/home ; ABC123.com/FAQ ; ABC123.com/shipping; etc.)
However, once one selects "Sign In" or "Register" (and likely other pages NOT in my control - Order History, Accounts, etc.) the web address shown the public switches back to the old initial signup name of "ABC.mycafecommerce.com/signin" ; "ABC.mycafecommerce.com/register" etc. thus defeating the WHOLE PURPOSE of even having a domain name. And I purchased the domain name through CafeCommerce! And once my site is redirected to the old xxx.mycafecommerce.com, it never returns to my purchased domain name - even when I navigate back to the Home page and other previously working pages!
I want to be able to give to the world my "ABC123.com" domain name and trust that regardless of where they navigate to on my store they will NEVER see "ABC.mycafecommerce.com/xxx".
Likewise, in "The CafeCommerceManager" under Settings / Email - many of the default emails that can be sent out have the xxx.mycafecommerce.com domain embedded in the emails. ("https://ABC.mycafecommerce.com/users_profile.php" etc. )
When a proper domain is purchased and linked, no where on our stores should customers EVER be given an alternate domain (xxx.mycafecommerce.com) if we don't want them to see that. YOUR code should be ensuring this! Please advise if I am missing a setting somewhere or what? If I am not, then this is a MAJOR failure in design/coding of your software. Thanks.
