CSS Vertical Menu not pop out in IE, Chrome and Firefox

Hi all,

We've got the lastest version of CCS menu writer and have created a vertical menu. Originally the menu was fine in older versions of IE, firefox etc.

Now with IE 8 (8.0.6001.18783), Google Chrome ( and Firefox (3.0.11) the menu does not pop out. The menu also displays all parent and sub categories when the sub categories are meant to show/hide during hover/pop-out.

IE 8 has a meta tag to specifically allow the IE7 engine to run, the code is below -

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

We've successfully added this meta tag and the menu is back to working with IE 8 in IE 7 mode though.

As for Chrome & Firefox no fix has been succssful as yet.

An example of this in action is on the left hand side.

Any help much appreciated as we have a number of sites with this issue.
