CSS Vertical Menu not pop out in IE, Chrome and Firefox

Hi all,

We've got the lastest version of CCS menu writer and have created a vertical menu. Originally the menu was fine in older versions of IE, firefox etc.

Now with IE 8 (8.0.6001.18783), Google Chrome (2.0.172.33) and Firefox (3.0.11) the menu does not pop out. The menu also displays all parent and sub categories when the sub categories are meant to show/hide during hover/pop-out.

IE 8 has a meta tag to specifically allow the IE7 engine to run, the code is below -

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

We've successfully added this meta tag and the menu is back to working with IE 8 in IE 7 mode though.

As for Chrome & Firefox no fix has been succssful as yet.

An example of this in action is www.willisjococoffee.com.au on the left hand side.

Any help much appreciated as we have a number of sites with this issue.

Please export the menu in the layout manager so that we can reproduce the problem. This will allow us to debug the issue properly. I am not sure what would cause this.

Export of CSS Menu

Hi Ray,

The only option for export I saw in the GUI was to save a preset, which once saved I cannot located in the CSS Menu Writer folder/sub-folders.

Anyhow I have attached a ZIP file of the live menu and images folders so you may view any of the files.

As I mentioned in my original post we have a number of sites using this and all display the same issue with Firefox & Chrome.

Go to the webassist layout manager. It will allow you to import and export presets.

Hi Ray,

Here is the layout manager export as you requested. Anything else or a fix for this let me know.

Cheers.

Ok, I will try to reproduce the problem with these files. Does this happen when placing the menu on a new blank page, or do I need to place it somewhere else specifically to experience the issue?
