eCart drops Cart Contents
Every once in a while (like once every few months) eCart will drop the contents of the Cart.
That is, Store Cart Summary in Database works but Store Cart Details in Database fails.
Using ASP VB and the latest version of eCart 4.
The net result is a useless order (and one that doesn't even appear in our orders list -- we only find these by chance or if a customer asks where his order is).
What is causing this?
Like I said, it is rare but it has happened several times over the last couple of years.
