Favicon

Thank you Daryl
The information you provided worked out!
I found favicon/
dynamcidrive worked better for me using a vista pc with CS4 dreamweaver.
For anyone reading this post with a view to having ago at implementing a favicon, use the dynamicdrive html code: <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”favicon.ico”> its simpler and worked for me incomparison to other online freebees. I was not able to test locally which is my fault. Try and download the generated dynamicdrive favicon.ico file to individual pre-paired folders in the downloads folder, the ico file is a bit live a carries information over to replacement .ico's. Testing meant that a 454 x 340 PNG 8 jams into resolution for the downscale size 16 x 16 pixels with-out carring the alpha channel, I had to use a PNG instead of a Jpeg or GIF as they show a grey scale placed over the browser alpha channel giving a dirty appearence. Finally Voila!
