Creating Menu Spacing

I have created a menu with Menu Writer 2 and I am trying to figure out how to create some spacing between the buttons. Right now they are piled on top of each other with no space and I would like to put about 10 pixels of space between them.

I was able to add some padding and it worked, but it created a new issue. I want the sub menu to stay squared up as it currently is right now with NO padding between the buttons. However when I add the padding between the buttons it shoves the sub menus up as well and they are no longer squared up with the training button. Please see the attached PDF to see what I have done.

If you look you will see all I want to do is add the padding BETWEEN the buttons, BUT leave the sub menu squared up with the training like it is in the picture below.
