HTML Editor Content Area Does Not Display

Thread began 5/18/2010 1:21 pm by heather384148 | Last modified 8/02/2010 3:18 pm by heather384148 | 2958 views | 20 replies

I started over from scratch again, and chose the defaults.
Uploaded the HTMLEditor and pages and it worked with defaults.

I went back and customized the editor settings. Uploaded and it works.

There are no kfm tables appearing in my database.

Seems editing the editor settings has to be done once, and for all affected pages. (I did it in two tries to change custom settings and it messed up everything again. This time no toolbar on certain pages.)

I also have a preset I always use. Then I also CUSTOMIZE the STYLING and choose the site's CSS file. Then I get the 'Save as' preset window, and choose the same preset and save over it. Then re-upload the HTML Editor.

Why don't the styles show in the Edit Area? My CSS class styles show up in the Format drop down but the edit area on shows times new roman.

I always have to zip the HTML Editor to upload it to the server and then putty to unzip it. Is there an easier way? Perhaps have it once on my server for all my sites? If I always use the same preset. Just a thought.
