Order Management & My Profile
Front end issues:
1) Update Profile:
I have noticed that there is no email address field in the front end when a user accesses the update profile. just wondering if there is a reason for this? Can I add it in Dreamweaver?
2) Order History:
I can see the item I've ordered but not the size or colour.
I was also thinking that it would be good for them to have an order ID when they view their order history in case they call and I need to find it. as above can it be added manually?
BTW the emails are fine... they have all of the info.
Back end issues:
Order Fulfillment Workflow:
3) I'm trying to anticipate the order fulfillment process. Is there anywhere that I can see the assumed order management workflow? It seems that I can either list all of my orders starting with the oldest (which seems counter intuitive to me) or I can filter and see only the shipped orders (when would I want to do that?)... I will need to see the orders that have NOT shipped. I would expect the shipped orders to be archived or something. Is there any way to find just the *active* orders?
Do most users manage and fill orders by some other means such as Paypal? or download order and manage them in some other software?
Please forgive my ignorance. I am in the very early stages of learning this software and trying to get "the big picture" and it seems to be eluding me right now.
