Problems with International Orders

Thread began 2/19/2010 2:13 pm by nenad391153 | Last modified 10/18/2010 3:12 pm by nenad391153 | 1513 views | 10 replies

Problems with International Orders

Our website is based in the US. We have a couple of questions about international orders and how eCart5 pertains to such. We have had a few international customers call us and say that they could not order online. Transactions were failed.

Is eCart International ready?

We are using When an International customer places an order(obviously international customers do not have a 'State') how are they to fill in the form? Is city where they would put their province? Do they have a postal code? or is it called something else? What fields and in what order need to be filled in properly to have a successful order placed?

How could we check our shopping cart to test and see if it works internationally? Is there an easy way to check this without having to wait and hope that an International customers succeeds in a payment?

Please let us know as soon as possible how eCart relates to the above questions. It is rather urgent considering no International orders have been successful. Perhaps there is something further we have to do on our end. Please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your help!
