menu writer

I built a template with css sculptor and used css menu writer for my nav. I was using dreamweaver cs3 and windows xp. everything was working find and I was able to edit my nav find. I and a pc crash with xp so I bought my self windows 7 everything went on find and I loaded up my back up of my website as its still not finished to add more to the nav but menu witer with not let me edit the nav. I am new to webassist hope you can advise
I have also tried building the menu again then go back to modify it to an existing CSS menu layouts but does not give me that option
