Trouble with finalising transactions

Trouble with finalising transactions

I have been attempting to use eCart4 and I am having problems concerning completing credit card transactions. I get the error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\websites\gymbag\WA_eCart\Adv_CO_Scripts\PP_PayProUK_PHP.php

when I have chosen to finalise an order from the order summary page. Could you give me any advice on how to make the credit card payments work. I am using the paypal pro uk gateway and I have entered the info from the API into the checkout wizard. I have just followed the steps in the checkout wizard and the result is as above. As far as I'm aware curl_init() is a standard PHP function as it is explained on

If anyone could give me an idea of what went wrong that would be great
