Error Capture & Multi-Language Support?

Error Capture & Multi-Language Support?

I have the latest version and have driving directions enabled. I use a form (like the recipe) to update the visitor's FROM address, city and country... Works great MOST of the time except when users enter a typo for any of the above.

I notice that with driving directions enabled, that if the visitor's 'from' location is not found, then the driving directions simple don't display at all... no errors or any feedback from Google.

Google must supply some kind of error code that can be tested against to show wording like "From location not found, please try again"...

Does your code support this or what can be added to my .php file to check for these returned error codes so I can show some error text in the driving direction div?

Also, I know Google supports passing a language variable in the call for the driving directions, I just don't know where to add the syntax...

Something like ",EN" or ",FR" I think...

Any ideas on either of these?
