Can't get dreamweaver to work with my local testing server.

As Eric stated in the other thread it looks like your using a temp location for previewing.

In the site definition, what are the settings on the Local Info tab for the Local root path versus the Testing server root path on the testing server tab?

Make sure they are both pointing to the same folder.  



Hi Jason, thanks! I did have the local root path and the testing server root path both pointing to the same file...but it does look like the problem was indeed caused by the "temp location" option in my preferences settings. I unchecked that and now menu writer does seem to work.

I do appreciate how you have stuck with me on this. I tried uploading the powerstore files to my remote server last night and seemed to have some serious issues that came up, but before I start asking you more questions I will see where I can get on my own tonight. I am hoping that some of those issues will resolve with my being able to edit the content and links in the menu. If I can't fix it on my own, then I will start a new thread. Again, thank you!
