In the mean time, try right clicking the PDF link and selecting the Open In a new tab option.
If that does not work, select the Save Link As option to save the PDF file to your computer before opening it in Acrobat Reader.
It seems that this issue has not yet been resolved, I've been also having the same issue on multiple diffrent systems, diffrent operating systems, and most updated version of Acrobat Reader 9.2. Any idea when this issue can be resolved. It's a real problem.
