Need some guidance on file uploads and project direction

Need some guidance on file uploads and project direction

Hello, I need some guidance if anyone can point me in the right direction.
I am creating a CRM using DataBridge. I'm in the beginning stages planning out the schema. My biggest question is how to setup file uploads? I want to be able to have multiple files uploaded and associated with a contact. I have created an uploads table in the DB that would hold three columns
[id] [contact_id] [fileName]
When I upload a .pdf file for the contact, I want to store those three values in the uploads table using the contact_id as the key that connects the contacts table with the uploads table.
I would then like the details page to be able to return the query from the contacts table and also return the fileName from the uploads table that share the same contact id ( uploads:contact_id = contacts:id )
If anyone understands what I’m trying to achieve can you please point me in the right direction? Maybe include a link to a tutorial or give your input as to how you might handle this scenario.

I have included the DB file, it may shed some light on what I'm trying to do.
