hover color for products

thanks for your last reply, worked nicely. now i want to make the background of the li (or products) change to a color when hover over. I want the size of the highlight to be the same as the catagory above it (or h2). The way I have it now, i have my hover color, but only behind the text, not across the entire space. How do I control this?
