The person that started the thread; stated the problem they had, followed the advice, and thanked everyone for the help. Additional help was offered including suggestions for outside training materials.
You instead imply that help consists of "Have you read the PDF:
I agree that the ironically named 'Web Assist' don't really help customers who have bought their products. I don't feel it's enough for them to simpy direct you to PDF documents with comments such as 'Have you read the pdf document?' 
The "complicated steps required" are detailed in the document that Jason was asking you to read. If you don't understand something, you can ask a question instead of complaining about lack of help. We aren't mind readers either. There is no way for us to tell the level of experience (or lack of) someone has unless they express what they are having difficulty understanding.
People are always going to be more likely to help someone that has made a good faith effort to read the documentation and tries to follow instructions given in the forum. You never completed the thread you refer to:

Then you show up in this thread claiming you can't get the help you need. It makes no sense for WA to try to talk people out of buying their products under the assumption that it will be beyond the capacity of some people to comprehend the process.
You say you are willing to pay for training, yet you don't take advantage of the free resources. You complain that you have to know databases, yet you make no mention of completing the database starter kit that WA now offers for free. I believe that is over 2 hours of video tutorials.
If people are not willing to invest the time it takes to learn a new tool that will greatly reduce development time, they are probably in the wrong business. If people are willing to learn, there are plenty of people willing to help. Making snide remarks is not likely to encourage anyone to help.
