PowerCMS & mSQLi

I've just attempted to update a site running PowerCMS to mySQLi server behaviors. I updated all the recordsets and behaviors in the admin_cms folder and re-uploaded those files and the entire webassist folder, however I ended up with the white screen of death. Turning on error reporting gave me nothing, still a completely blank screen. Luckily I kept a copy of the original webassist folder so I've restored it for now, but just wondered if you could talk me the through the process of updating a PowerCMS site to mySQLi to ensure I haven't missed anything?
