The reason your button was included in the repeat selection may have to do with how you applied it. In my test I just highlighted the input field and the check box only then applied the repeat selection.I have moved your submit button outside of the loop and updated the name and id to be just delete like your server behavior is looking for.
Ok after messing around I got it to work, but it does not work as intended modification is required for even a basic multiple delete or insert.
Now I would like to add this function to an already existing Results page... It is again not working for me...
